About The Resort
Big Sky Ski Resort is located in the western United States, in southwestern Montana in Madison County. It is also the second-largest ski resort in the United States by acreage. Opened in late 1973, the resort has more than 5,800 acres (9.1 sq mi) of terrain and a vertical drop of 4,350 feet. Big Sky Resort also offers meeting space for conferences, weddings, and corporate retreats. The winter activities include skiing and snowboarding, seven terrain parks, zip-line, and snowshoeing.

Located next to the ski elevators, this lodge features an outdoor swimming pool and a daily hot breakfast.
